For permits issued on or after February 1, 2025, drivers under 21 must complete at least 50 hours of supervised practice driving, including 10 in darkness, certified on form BA-CSD, before a probationary license.

For most Bergen County drivers, the NJ MVC road test site at 8 Mill St (off Garibaldi Ave) in Lodi. Wayne (481 Route 46 West) is another option.
